The EV Stealth Kia EV5 EV Stealth Towbar has completed its compliance testing and currently in production. Pre-orders are now OPEN, with expected delivery in the last week of July-25.

Our bestselling EV towbars will be certified for towing up to 1,250kgs & 125kgs ball weight. Although owners should check the towing capacity of their KIA EV5 variant. Current tow rating approvals as follows;

  • Long Range 2WD 18" (Air) – 1,250kgs

  • Long Range 2WD 19" (Earth) – 1,250kgs

  • Long Range 4WD 19" (Earth) – 1,250kgs

  • Long Range 4WD GT-Line – 1,250kgs

  • Standard Range 2WD 18" (Air) – 300kgs

  • Standard Range 2WD 18" (Light) – 300kg

EV Stealth has been able to source a dedicated OEM Plug & Play Smart Wiring harness, which will communicate with the vehicle when a trailer or bike rack is plugged in to disable sensors and other auto-brake safety features.

Please note some Kia EV5 variants may not be compatible with the smart wiring, and hence a passive univeral wiring harness will be used due to the factory set-up on the vehicle (usually the Air). You can choose Passive or Smart wiring when you order.
