The towbar uses a detachable mount that operates differently than a typical square tube receiver hitch. Please note a small neat cut-out is required on the fascia for 2021-2023 models, the Models (2017-2020 & 2024) already have factory towbar access so no cutout is required for these. If required, we also can arrange purchase of a Tesla replacement fascia with the towbar access panel, that can be installed free of charge when fitting.
