The EV Stealth BYD Sealion 8 towbar test fit has been completed and production is underway. Excpected around end of June.

The towbar will be certified to match the maximum towing capacity for the vehicle. We will design and certified the towbar to the following specs;

  • Max Unbraked Towing Capacity – 750kgs

  • Max Braked Towing Capacity – 2,000 kgs

  • Max Ball Weight – 150-200 kgs

This will be the first towbar to be made available in Australia for the BYD Sealion 8. The kit will come with plug n play wiring harness (this will mirror lights and requires no splicing). It wont automatically connect to Tow mode etc.‍

  • Includes Australian Universal ECU or Plug n Play universal wiring harness and 7-pin flat plug, removable 50mm square hitch receiver, removable ball mount, 50mm tow ball, shackles and lockable/removable pin.

  • Excludes: Installation, however we can connect you to one of our approved network of installers around Australia
