The EV Stealth BYD Sealion 8 towbar preorder will open 18-19th June 2026

The towbar will be certified to match the maximum towing capacity for the vehicle. We will design and certified the towbar to the following specs;

  • Max Unbraked Towing Capacity – 750kgs

  • Max Braked Towing Capacity – 2,000 kgs

  • Max Ball Weight – 200 kgs

It is a class-4 fixed design with removable tongue & ball. The kit will come with a Plug & Play wiring harness (this will mirror lights and requires no splicing). It will be a passive wiring harness, meaning it won’t automatically activate trailer mode. ‍

  • Includes: fixed 50mm square hitch receiver, towball mount, 50mm towball, lock-in pin, D-shackles and Wiring Harness.
