The EV Stealth Geely EX5 Towbar has been successfully test fit and they are now into production.
Owners should be aware that the Geely EX5 does not currently have an official towing capacity certified for use in Australia. Geely is understood to be progressing the relevant certification, with any approved towing rating to be announced in due course.
Until full Australian certification has been obtained, the vehicle must not be used to tow on public roads.
The towbar may be used to support compatible non-towing accessories, such as bike carriers, subject to the accessory manufacturer’s specifications and applicable load limits. Any such use is at the owner’s sole discretion and risk.
