Owners should be aware that the Nissan Leaf does not currently have an official towing capacity certified for use in Australia.

Until full Australian certification has been obtained, the vehicle must not be used to tow on public roads.

The towbar may be used to support compatible non-towing accessories, such as bike carriers, subject to the accessory manufacturer’s specifications and applicable load limits. Any such use is at the owner’s sole discretion and risk.
